Join the Â鶹´«Ã½ Age-Friendly University Working Group
The university’s Committee for an Age-Friendly University (AFU) was established in 2020 after Â鶹´«Ã½ University was designated an Age-Friendly University by the AFU Global Network. The committee has since established a monthly newsletter with approximately 500 subscribers, held several AFU events on- and off-campus, and engaged countless older adults all across Durham Region. The committee is now developing plans to restructure into a Working Group, to allow for even greater engagement across campus, with researchers, students, and staff.
